Welcome to my site,

My name is Zita Panyi. I worked as a dog behavior therapist for nearly a decade. And met with many traumatized dogs in the country I was born. I left it behind because I believe that a healthy lifestyle for animals and humans is only possible in harmony with nature. In an environment where the core values of society are humanity, responsibility, empathy, openness to development, a sense of joy in the diversity of the world and rationality. Where the responsibility of the individual and that of society are equally distinct. Only with this background can we leave a legacy of accumulated knowledge, of the good that lives within us. This is what I would like to do. By giving voice to the stories of animals and people. My own story too.

I believe that no matter how old we are and what happens to us in life, if we are able to feel and believe in our life force, then we can keep our creativity and our common sense. We need both to grow and to meet those with whom we can make our dreams come true.

So, I decided it was time for a change. I have moved to the magical Finland with my family and I am on my artistic journey – back to the roots – in a self-taught way. I love it. I hope my artwork will bring joy to many people and bring color to many homes.

This is a watercolor. There are six isosceles triangles built into each other. On the left side of the picture we can only see some parts of other triangle's sides, as well as on the right side. Between the colored parts there are two empty spaces. These areas include tiny triangles that are floating. Sometimes they touch the main triangle. Maybe they will be integrated as part of it? Or maybe they are just breaking away from it in search of their final place?

Willow

This was my first commission of 2018. It was full of surprises as I was learning the usage and a limits of the medium by doing it. Before Christmas I worked with a pit bull and her owner. She told me that her brother's dog had inspired her to adopt a rescue dog. Willow's portrait was a Christmas surprise for her brother. I remember how excited I was to finish the artwork in time. It was a very good feeling to give joy with this drawing. After I finished Willow's portrait, I knew that I wanted to do animal portraits and landscapes in the future. And for that I have to learn and practice a lot. For example, not to digitize a picture after it is already with the new owner. Unfortunately, I forgot to scan this puppy in my great hurry. I took a picture of it afterwards. If you are smart, you will notice the little light stripe on the dog's shoulder 😉 .
